Public Power Community residents can electrify their transportation thanks to a Nissan Leaf rebate offer.

nissan-leaf-rebate-ig-pud3.gif(SHELTON, WA) -- The American Public Power Association has teamed up with Nissan to offer rebates to public power communities on the all-electric 2019 Nissan LEAF.

Mason PUD 3 customers are eligible for a Nissan rebate of up to $3,500 when purchasing the LEAF standard edition, and $2,500 when buying the ePlus vehicle. The offer ends September 30, 2019.

In addition to the public power rebate, customers can get a retail sales tax exemption from Washington State and up to $7,500 in federal tax credits on the purchase of any all-electric vehicle.

To claim the rebate, buyers will need to print the rebate flyer, available at the American Public Power Association website: https://www.publicpower.org/system/files/documents/71 Nissan Leaf Flyer rev7 7-17-19_0.pdf.

Bring the flyer, proof of eligible residency, and the most current copy of your PUD 3 electric bill to your local Nissan dealer. Find a dealer at NissanUSA.com.

On average, it costs less than a third as much to drive an EV, compared to a similar vehicle that runs on gasoline. EVs produce zero direct emissions, which improves air quality, enhances public health, and reduces environmental impact. To learn more about the benefits of EVs, visit www.pud3.org/ev.
