Be vigilant! There are many scams designed to attack utility customers. They include con artists posing as utility employees demanding payment and threatening to disconnect power, as well as marketing curious technology designed to lower utility bills. If you get a call from the "PUD" or the "Power Company" and you are not expecting a call... IT MAY BE A SCAM! Learn about some of the common techniques that scammers use here: www.pud3.org/scams
If there's a tree endangering the power lines, we want to know about, to keep you safe, and to keep the power on.
If you have overhead power lines that run through your property or in your neighborhood, please take a moment to see if there are any trees or large branches that could potentially fall into the lines. If you notice such hazards, please report it immediately using the form, accessible below, and a PUD 3 representative will contact you for more information and schedule an on-site evaluation.
