Bonneville Power Administration has announced maintenance work to be done on the Potlatch substation near Hoodsport, requiring a power outage affecting 2,100 customers in the Lake Cushman area for about nine hours, beginning 9 PM June 27 and ending by 6 AM the following morning, June 28.
PUD 3 recommends unplugging sensitive appliances and electronic equipment until 20 minutes after power has been restored. Also, especially with electronics, it is important to use surge protectors.
