Customers in the following areas with PUD fiber will experience an overnight internet outage: Emerald Lake, Zephyr Lane, Roos Court, Mason Benson Rd, Mason Lake, Ballantrae Dr, Tenby Way, Tiree Pl, Muirkirk Rd, and Aycliffe Dr, and surrounding areas while the PUD transfers critical equipment starting on the evening of June 7th at 7:00 p.m. into the morning of June 8th 7:00 a.m.

There were numerous power outages scattered throughout Mason County because of last night's storm. Line crews, tree crews, and support personnel were dispatched throughout the area to restore power as quickly and as safely as possible.

Mason Lake/Trask Lake

  • 5:53 PM - PUD 3's monitoring system reported a power outage on Mason Lake Drive W, and around Trask Lake. 360 customers are affected. A large tree is reported down on Mason lake Drive W near Mason Lake County Park.
  • PUD 3 crews are in the area, making repairs.
  • Power restored at 9:39 PM to some customers in the Mason Lake area.
  • Power restored at 4:00 AM to the rest of the customers affected by the Mason Lake area outage.

Lake Leprechaun (at Lake Limerick)

  • 5:46 PM - PUD 3's monitoring system reported a power outage at Lake Leprechaun near Lake Limerick. 30 customers on Balmoral Way are affected. A line crew is making repairs.
  • We expect to have power restored to this area by 8:45 PM.
  • Power restored at 7:54 PM to Balmoral Way customers.

Sanderson Field Business Park

  • 5:43 PM - PUD 3's monitoring system reported an outage to 24 customers at Sanderson Field north of Shelton.
  • PUD 3 crews are in the area, making repairs.
  • We expect to have power restored by 11:00 PM.
  • Power restored at 9:25 PM to Sanderson Field Business Park.

Harstine Island

  • 8:47 PM - PUD 3's monitoring system reported an outage for 308 customers in the south portion of Harstine Island.
  • PUD 3 engineers are patrolling the area looking for the cause of the outage. That way, linemen can get started quickly when they arrive.
  • Linemen found a tree across power lines in the vicinity of Burgundy Road, and another near the intersection of Ritz Drive and E Harstine Island Road S.
  • We expect to have power restored by 1:30 AM.
  • Power restored at 12:33 AM to south Harstine Island.
  • Mother Nature's wrath led to a second outage on south Harstine Island at 3:13 AM. Nearly five spans of power lines were knocked to the ground.
  • Power re-restored at 6:31 AM to south Harstine Island.

Highway 101 N., Eagle Pt Dr., Miracle Heights

  • 9:11 PM - PUD 3's monitoring system reported an outage for 87 customers on Highway 101 north of the intersection of Brockdale Road, Eagle Point Drive, Miracle Heights Drive, and Moorview Lane.
  • Linemen have been assigned to investigate and make repairs.
  • Power restored at 9:59 PM to customers in this area.

Belfair: SR 3 North, Newkirk Rd Area, Log Yard Rd Area

  • 9:45 PM - PUD 3's monitoring system reported an outage for customers along SR 300, Highway 3 North, the vicinity of Newkirk and Log Yard Roads surrounding areas.
  • Linemen are in the area to investigate and make repairs.
  • Power restored at 1:11 AM to customers in the Belfair area.
