storybrook-mill-creek-bridge.jpg(SHELTON, WA) -- Mason PUD 3 has scheduled a planned power outage August 17 for customers in the Storeybrook area near Shelton. The outage will occur between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM. It will affect about 40 customers.

A contractor is working on a private bridge across Mill Creek. PUD 3 was asked to temporarily clear power lines away from the bridge on Wednesday during roadway improvements. The PUD will take the opportunity to revise the power feed to the area and make safety improvements.

As with any outage, the PUD recommends that sensitive electronic appliances and equipment be turned off and unplugged until power is restored for at least 20 minutes.

If customers have any questions, they may call Koral Miller, PUD 3 engineering project manager: 360-426-8255, extension 5307.
