107 Customers will be without power overnight while crews relocate facilities to accommodate a Washington State fish culvert project.

(BELFAIR, WA) – Thursday, November 17, Mason PUD 3 will be installing and upgrading electrical equipment on the South Shore of Hood Canal – along State Route 106. While the work occurs, there will be a temporary planned power outage for 107 customers west of Twanoh Tides Drive.

The overnight outage will begin at Midnight, November 17 and last until to 6:00 a.m. on the morning of November 18.

During the outage, PUD 3 recommends unplugging sensitive appliances and electronic equipment until power has been restored for about 20 minutes. Also, especially with electronics, it is important to use surge protectors.

The work is required to relocate PUD facilities to accommodate the State of Washington’s ongoing fish culvert project. Customers in the affected area have been notified by mail. Any questions about the project may be directed to the PUD’s Belfair Line Superintendent in charge of the project at (360) 275-2833, extension 2250.
