PUD 3 received five Excellence in Communications awards from Northwest Public Power Association (NWPPA). The awards were announced Sept. 18 for communication efforts in 2023, based on utility size:
- Internal Communications, first place
- Social media, first place
- Newsletter, first place
- Annual Report, second place (cover shared below)
- Wild Card, second place (for Energy Expo activities during Public Power Week - flyer shared below)
The contest recognized the best communications efforts made by NWPPA member utilities and associations during 2023. Utilities across the region submitted more than 250 entries in nine categories.
