PUD 3 COMMISSION TO HOLD HEARING ON UPDATED RESOURCE PLAN
The Mason County PUD No. 3 Board of Commissioners has scheduled a public hearing for Tuesday, August 23, 2022, for consideration and possible adoption of the updated Resource Plan under RCW 19.280. The hearing will begin at 10:00 a.m. in the PUD commission boardroom at 2621 E. Johns Prairie Road in Shelton. The regular scheduled commission meeting will begin immediately following the hearing.
Rural folks formed Public Utility Districts (PUDs) to get what they wanted: electrical service. But PUDs are much more than electricity. They also provide water, sewer and wholesale telecommunications services. All at cost, without profit.
