Be vigilant! There are many scams designed to attack utility customers. They include con artists posing as utility employees demanding payment and threatening to disconnect power, as well as marketing curious technology designed to lower utility bills. While Mason PUD 3 is statutorily required to offer the joint use of its poles (with the necessary consent) for the "provisions of telecommunications and information services..." (RCW 54.04.045), the utility also recognizes the value of providing a just, reasonable, and nondiscriminatory program for the mutual benefit of its shared customers with the Licensees.
