Commissioner, District 3
Jeff McHargue was appointed by the commission in 2022 to fulfill the unexpired term of retired commissioner Bruce Jorgenson. He was then elected in 2024 for a new six-year term. Jeff is the current Vice President of the board. His district includes the western portion of Mason County. Jeff is a lifelong Shelton and Mason County resident and has been a successful insurance agent in Shelton and Mason County since 1985. Jeff has two grown daughters that live here in Mason County, Nicole and Alexis, and four grandchildren.
