Start Service
To start electric service, you will need the following:
New Construction

Response Times
PUD 3 business hours are Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Response times are generally within 24 business hours. If you need to initiate electric service sooner than that, please get in touch with customer service by phone at (360) 426-8255.
Security Deposits & Billing
We offer two different billing options:
Prepaid Billing
Choosing the prepaid billing option avoids having to pay a security deposit.
Postpaid Billing
Choosing the postpaid billing option may require up-front payment of a security deposit.
Security deposits are calculated based on your credit and a minimum of $100 or up to two times the highest bill at the service address.
Commercial Accounts
Commercial accounts require a completed commercial application for credit, business guaranty, and a security deposit of two times the highest bill at the service address. The deposit is applied back to the account when it’s finalized. Contact customer service at (360) 426-8255 to see if your account qualifies for prepaid billing.
