A weather & traffic camera network around Mason County.
Mason PUD 3’s fiber optic network supports many functions of the modern electric grid. During storm situations when the PUD Outage Center is open, staff can use the road conditions cameras linked below to monitor weather conditions across Mason County. These camera feeds are also shared with Mason County Public Works so that they can make informed decisions on where to best focus their resources. During winter weather events, one of the most common questions we see on social media is regarding the status of roads. Hopefully the traffic cameras below will help to answer some of those questions across our large county.
